Last Updated: September 2, 2026

TheAskt.org ("TheAskt," "we," "us," or "our") is an initiative of Amulya Samaj Kalyan Trust. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal information when you visit our website, register for a webinar, enroll in a program, or otherwise interact with our Services.

By using our Services, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.

1Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Directly

  • Full name, email address, and phone number (when you register for a webinar, enquire, or enroll in a program).
  • Age, educational background, and "I am a..." category (student, woman restarting a career, school/college representative, company representative, etc.).
  • Payment details, when you enroll in a paid program (processed securely via our third-party payment gateway — we do not store full card or bank details ourselves).
  • Any messages, questions, or information you submit through our Contact forms.
  • Content you create as part of a program (projects, portfolios, assignments), where applicable.

B. Information Collected Automatically

  • IP address, browser type, device type, and general location (city/region level).
  • Pages visited, time spent on our website, and how you arrived at our site (e.g., via search, social media, referral).
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 6 below).

C. Information From Third Parties

  • If a school, college, or community partner registers you for a webinar or program on your behalf, we may receive your contact details from them.
  • If you engage with us via a third-party platform (e.g., WhatsApp, Instagram, LinkedIn), we may receive limited information you've made available on that platform.

2How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Register you for webinars and provide access to recorded sessions.
  • Enroll you in paid programs and manage your access to our learning platform (LMS).
  • Communicate with you — including responding to enquiries, sending program updates, reminders, and relevant notifications.
  • Personalize your experience, such as recommending the right program (TheAskt+, TheAskt Shakti, or TheAskt Udaan) based on the information you provide.
  • Connect eligible students with our hiring, internship, or freelancing partner network, where you've opted in.
  • Improve our website, programs, and Services based on usage patterns.
  • Comply with legal, regulatory, or institutional (Trust) reporting requirements.
🛡️ We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

3How We Share Your Information

We may share your information in the following situations:

  • With Partner Companies (Hiring/Internship Network): If you are enrolled in a program that includes hiring or internship access, we may share relevant details (such as your name, contact information, and portfolio/skills summary) with partner companies — only with your consent, as part of the placement or opportunity-matching process.
  • With Service Providers: We work with trusted third-party providers for payment processing, email/SMS communication, hosting, and analytics. These providers only access the information necessary to perform their function and are bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • With Schools, Colleges, or Community Partners: If you were registered through an institutional partner, relevant progress or participation updates may be shared with that partner, where applicable.
  • For Legal Reasons: We may disclose information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request, or to protect the rights, safety, or property of TheAskt, our users, or the public.
  • In Case of Business Changes: If Amulya Samaj Kalyan Trust reorganizes, or if TheAskt's operations are transferred to another entity, your information may be transferred as part of that process, subject to this Privacy Policy continuing to apply.

4Data of Minors

  • Some of our webinars and programs (such as those aimed at Class 12th students) may involve individuals under the age of 18.
  • Where a participant is under 18, we require that a parent or legal guardian is aware of and consents to their registration and participation.
  • We collect only the minimum information necessary from minors to provide our Services, and we do not knowingly use minors' data for purposes beyond program delivery, communication, and legally required record-keeping.
  • Parents or guardians may contact us at any time to review, correct, or request deletion of their child's information.

5Data Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:

  • Secure storage of account and program data.
  • Restricted internal access to personal information, limited to team members who need it to perform their role.
  • Use of secure, reputable third-party payment gateways for any financial transactions.

However, no method of transmission or storage over the internet is 100% secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6Cookies & Tracking Technologies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Remember your preferences and login sessions.

  • Improve website performance and user experience.
  • Support advertising and remarketing efforts, such as showing you relevant TheAskt content on other platforms.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain features of our website.

Depending on applicable law (including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023), you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you.
  • Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
  • Request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal or contractual retention requirements.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@theaskt.org. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe as required by applicable law.

8Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to:

  • Provide you with our Services (webinars, programs, LMS access).
  • Maintain records for legal, accounting, or institutional (Trust) reporting purposes.
  • Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

When your information is no longer needed for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete or anonymize it.

Our website and program materials may contain links to third-party websites or tools (such as payment gateways, AI tool partners, or social media platforms). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.
